  Obama-care and the WT

  the gb must loooove obama-care socialist health-care.

  jws can go part time to pioneer and then still get health care coverage, while the successful jws and other non jw successful people foot the tax bill.

  Well it sure as hell doesnt help me! 50k a year gets me no where...500 for family insureance with shite coverage and still paying out of pocket for all my appointments? Psh. Between that and rent and food im basically poverty level lol.

  i'm writing a science-fiction novel which takes place on--where else?

  it will contain allegorical allusions to the watch tower.. .

  do you think you'd be interested in it if i publish it?.

  Terry ill read it! I read the John carter of mars series and loved them...with a dystopian/watchtorian addition it would make it that much more interesting

  An important point i learnt from the gospel of peter doc

  so i watchd a doc on the gospel of petey!

  and it was brought out that a tradition of the civilizations of the old is to look to these alostles as authoritative and some would write in a manner that siggested the higher ups ( matt, john, mark, peter) wrote it....if this is true then the gospels are just as accurate as the "lost" gospel of peter...whacha think?

  if true this truly jeopardizes the trub of the old testamenth.

  I just thought it was interesting that some traditions back then were to write something and claim its from an apostle or someone in a leadership position. Im not saying its fact but it did make me raise an eyebrow.

  Jesus was a False Prophet - But was he deluded or deceitful?

  any objective reading of the gospels makes it plain that jesus believed his parousia would happen within the lifetime of his generation.. his followers believed in his imminent return until the day of their deaths.. his false prophecy damaged the lives of his disciples in a similar way to that done by the lies of modern cults like the watchtower.

  peter and others walked out on their wives, children and businesses to follow him around palestine.

  jesus taught them to put their families and other normal concerns in second place to their task of spreading his message - which turned out to be false.. the question is what he was up to?.

  Heres the thing dor believers likee and sylvia...if Jesus only calls those who he draws or Jehovah draws us....why so many who feel loaded down or WHY so much evidence in contradiction to it? Truste if god indeed wanted all to be saved, he wouldve made spirituality testable, observable, with miracles and prophecies fulfilled withing the open light

  I may be inebriated but....i have found myself agreeing with much of this....damnit whats it mean? I want to believe! I want to know theres all these things that are teue butysteriois from the past....bit how are any of those nobles smarter than i or others whi are smarter than me?

  Something to consider when revealing WT history to your JW and a funny story

  new things to add to our fade (wife and i).

  first, we just attended a gathering sunday with a bunch of jws.

  it all went as you would suspect--met a kid i imagine is gay but his friends just claim hes very sheltered, typical monitoring of music to make sure nothing bad was on, prayer to jehovah giving thanks for the latest wt article, and a mother complaining about some adults having an alcoholic beverage and how wrong it was at this type of gathering.... but what tops it off is what my daughter said to a brother near the end of the day.. she has a toy she brought and played with the whole time since there werent many iids her age there.

  but what tops it off is what my daughter said to a brother near the end of the day.

  She has a toy she brought and played with the whole time since there werent many iids her age there. The brother she was speaking to asked where she got it and she says: "oh i got this at Chuckie cheese!!! For my cousins birthday party".....as i walked in on it my heart sank as the irrational fear set in. So we promptly went to the car and waited until it was time to leave. :-)

  And my next point to all those revealing truths about the history of the WT. Chances are unless you reveal current things to your JW (if they are willing to listen at all) they will still stick with the "they were imperfect, but still the best people out there and closest to the truth" defense. My wife is at that point. She knows the GB are corrupt, but still holds so strongly to the social ties and relationships. It angers me greatly knowing hat when these "friends" find out im a naughty apostate, theyll lovingly shun me and mark my wife. But if thats what it takes to wake her up....who knows. Anyways the point is to tie in the current tachings with the past in a way that shows how they consistently make the same mistakes with the same consequences in their followers' lives. I think thats the only way i can reach her as far as info is concerned. That, and Hassans books.
